Greeting from Dr. Jay Grimstead, Director of the International Church
Council Project
Warm greetings, dear Christian Friend,
I am writing today to ask you to help fund the International Church Council
Project by funding the salary of our ICCP Administrator, Eugene Clingman. ICCP
is calling the global church to council around the
twenty-two theological issues
listed in this brochure. We believe this effort is crucial to the theological
health of the Church in this generation, and those to come. Without the salt of
sound theology, the Church will be "tasteless," and thus "useless."
Eugene’s labors cover a wide range of responsibilities including correspondence with theologians and members, working to establish theological teams of men from the 80 targeted countries, website design and oversight, and a host of other tasks for which God has specially prepared him. His skills also include theological knowledge and writing abilities essential to ICCP.
Eugene serves ICCP as a "faith missionary," which means his living allowance comes to him in the same way many missionaries are funded. Like many missionaries (example - Mission Aviation Fellowship), Eugene is not paid a salary from the organization. Rather he must raise and maintain his living allowance through the generous donations of friends like you. Eugene’s salary is already partially funded. At this point we need to raise $2,500 per month. Please ask the Lord if He would allow you to be part of this effort.
Your partnership will strengthen the hands of this faithful man of God, and will greatly assist the progress of ICCP.
In the service of Christ’s Church,
Dr. Jay Grimstead
Director

Contend for the Faith!
We know that the Lord’s purposes will not ultimately fail. Yet in the midst
of progress there is warfare. The spirit of worldliness and compromise ever seek
to attach themselves to the Church and the tendency toward erosion of even the
most basic teachings of Scripture is ever present. For this reason we are urged
to "contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the
saints" (Titus 1:3). The International Church Council Project seeks to repair
and maintain the foundations and walls of Christian orthodoxy – those basic
truths upon which Christianity stands, and by which she is protected. The
twenty-two topics of the ICCP have been identified by leading theologians and
Christian leaders as areas essential to the Church which are in fact being
compromised and eroded within the Bible believing Church today.
Contending for the faith requires earnest effort, organized work, prayer, and financial support. For this reason we are asking you to join with us as we "earnestly contend." By making a commitment to support this work monthly, you will strengthen our ability to serve the Lord and His Church. You can give a special gift, or make monthly donations by Visa, MasterCard, or automatic giving. Please fill out the enclosed form and send it in with your first donation. The Lord will surely bless you for it!
Martin Luther's Declaration
"If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion
of the truth of God except precisely that little point which the world and the
devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I
may be professing Christ. Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the
soldier is proved, and to be steady on all the battlefield besides, is mere
flight and disgrace if he flinches at that point." The Reformer - Martin Luther
